Principals

SEEC facilitates principal meetings 5-6 times each school year to provide:

  1. Leadership for Learning activities

  2. Networking with other SEEC principals

  3. Space to give feedback to SEEC leadership and staff regarding school needs

  4. Opportunities to learn more about SEEC professional learning opportunities and services

Principals receive updates on current and upcoming programming available to their schools and also engage in discussion on best practices. Designed around collaboration, principals are given space to ask other districts how they’re handling certain standards, requirements, technology… you name it! This group really serves as a Principal PLC (Professional Learning Community) that evolves with what needs/wants those present decide.

Principal Advisory Committee

Whether you are a veteran principal or brand new to your position or school, the collaboration and networking that occurs during and after these meetings has provided support across our region. As one principal stated last spring, “Coming to these meetings is some of the BEST professional development I receive all year!”
