3170 43rd St. S. #103![]() Paraeducators and tutors can engage in on-line course modules and completie 5 hours of learning [asynchronously (4 hours) and synchronously (1 hour…flexible check ins)]. Through registration of this course, districts gain access to all of Master Teachers’ online modules free for one year ($29 value) for each particiapnat that registers. Additional course modules are made available for paraeducators to take independently. Currently there are over 170 course modules to learn from. Each module typically ranges from 45-60 minutes in length. Participants need an 80% to be considered proficient in the course material and receive a certificate of completion. Additionally, paraeducators and tutors can participate in an online webinar presented by Safe & Civil Schools. Participants will learn how to be a part of the school team, supervise common areas and independent work periods, and work with small groups or individuals while building relationships with students through increasing their positive interactions, teaching expectations for behaviors, and correcting misbehavior effectively.
